SSR GT3's E46 offset 38et 19x8.5
Tried searching... not sure if my current wheels will fit on a 135 coupe. I have 235/35 rubber on them right now. Any input appreciated.

it looks nice on the 4 door bet it looks alot better on 2... mm yeah i am thinking the offset is too low and the 8.5 may rub in the front with all that rubba but i am not an expert maybe ehnaych or larry or gill from tirerack can chime in gl

I would guess they will not fit. Assuming the coupe and hatch have similar tolerances to offsets, the front would stick out by several mm's say around 8. That works on an 18 (although slightly unpleasant to the eye), but run a 19 and I think you've got trouble. The rear I think would rub pretty harshly. Run over to babybmw.net and check out their aftermarket wheel thread and you'll see people running 19's with higher offsets already claiming they rub.

Looks like Topazblau to me. Those wheels do look great. Btw, it's amazing how some spacers that bring the wheels out to the fenders to make it look better. (though it wouuld be nice to have an offset that wouldn't make the spacers needed)

The wheel itself will go on, it's just not going to be real functional. Here are 2 photos of a 1er running 235/35/19 on 19X8.5 ET35. Consider that the wheel is sticking way out, and will likely hit with weight in the car or under load, say a high speed turn, especially since the 1er tucks the front wheel into the body work pretty harshly. If you hit the edge of the fender with a fast moving wheel you'll damage the tire, the fender edge, the paint, and maybe the attaching points of the fender. Just wanted you to know the options in terms of keeping/selling the wheels.

My 1'er will be modded with performance in mind. My E46 was mainly modded for styling, considering it was a 325 and never going to be very fast without a very large investment in $. I think I'll sell my SSR's and even consider 18 vs 19's. However I will go with a relatively more aggressive offset than I did with my E46. With the spacers my current rear offset is 26 which is pretty aggressive for the e46 however I do not rub and have no performance problems when cornering etc. So it sounds like something in the 42 range should be about the same as what I run on my E46.
