Thoughts on this option? Is it worth getting?

I'm getting it. my favorite local station broadcasts a few
HD stations so for me it sounded perfect. I'm not a big fan of satellite I like to her whats going on in my local aria(whether it be news, upcoming events or certiand DJs) if I just want to hear music I'll listen to MP3s

i suppose if you enjoy local radio stations then it would be worth it. for me, besides npr i only listen to sat. radio.

HD Radio sounds vastly better than satellite, I'm getting it. The FM "HD" streams are 96Kbps compared with low 50's on satellite. For reference, the iTunes store encodes at either 128K or 256K and a CD is about 750Kbps

To me, FM radio sounds better in some ways and worse in others, overall I prefer the HD Radio signal.

Plus it's free and I can't get NPR on FM analog here.

I am getting it on my car since I listen to one particular AM station that now gone HD.
