Exhaust options f36

Hello everyone,

I've recently been looking at exhaust options for my 2017 440i. I'm about a week away from getting a bunch of stuff installed and run mhd stage 2. Ill provide a list of the parts I'm installing at the bottom.

CTS turbo charge pipe
MST cold air intake
Dinan turbo inlet (don't think this is compatible with MST)
AWE midpipe
VRSF downpipe

I have been holding off on purchasing an axle back system just because I'm not aware of all of my options. The obvious answer is to get an AWE touring exhaust to match the midsection, but I'm looking for something a bit different, like quad exhaust tips. I'm coming from my previous car being a Passat GT with a Borla quad exhaust system, and was hoping to find something similar for the 440i. The options that are quad exhaust are extremely small in diameter, like stock 63mm. I'm hoping to find something more or less around 90-110mm for exhaust tips. Any options besides the dual exhuast 105mm option on the AWE touring axleback???

Also would it be possible to retrofit an m4 axleback on a 440i if I do an m4 bumper and diffuser conversion?? I understood the difference between me buying a 440i and a m4, I'm not looking to mimic an m4 by any means I understand the car won't sound the same or look the same. I just like the exhaust style on the m4.

I'll post some links to the options I'm referencing.

Thanks for listening. I've only had the car for a bit now, so forgive me if this is completely impossible.

Skip the charge pipe, it's a waste. Instead of midpipe, just get the resonators deleted (same thing and way less $$). I ran the AWE catback suite and I loved the sound. It is a loud and aggressive exhaust, especially paired with a catless DP.

YMMV on the resonator delete... the only place that I could even get a quote from locally was charging 4 figures for a simple delete and replace with stainless steel. More than twice a Remus midpipe and about 3x the Dinan. Needless to say, I didn't do it, and will just get the Remus at some point.

OP, I have the Remus axleback and it's great. I hope the quad exhaust idea isn't a deal breaker for you since most of the good OTS options for us are dual exhaust.

I got the charge pipe for practically free, so I'm only paying for install which is low as well so I'm just full sending haha. I understand I don't really need the upgrade on stock turbo.

I'm really leaning into the AWE suite, thanks for the response regardless.

I got the carbon tips, they actually ended up looking a little different than I expected- they lack the spelled out and stylized "REMUS" and just have an "R", but still look good. I'll try to remember to get a picture later.

Look at the new scorpion cat back exhaust. Made by a very reputable and long standing uk company and way cheaper than awe etc even with carbon fiber tips
