Cats & Cooler

I know this might seem backwards, but I was wondering.....If I upgraded the aftercooler and replaced the cats with free flow ones , do you think it would make a significant difference? Both are available for the 335i and would most likely fit . You could add the reflash (or piggyback) later for more power.
Just wondering what everyones thoughts might be.....

I'm going with bigger downpipes with high flow cats and intercooler as well as Procede.
