Stained merino white leather seat

Hi, we made the mistake of eating food in our car haha. And there is a small yellow sauce stain in the merino white leather seat. I’m reading online to use oil and vinegar, or dish soap. Any recommendations?

Oil + Vinegar: Mix 1/2 cup olive oil with 1/4 cup of vinegar in a spray bottle. Spritz on the stain, let sit for five minutes and wipe.

Yellow sauce as in mustard? This could be tough, as mustard gets it color from turmeric, which is used specifically for its color fast fabric dyeing quality.

See if you can find a small fragment of leather under one of the seats to cut off and experiment with first. Getting a stain out can quickly go from bad to worse, and you don't want that to happen.
