Mag Blue TE37s on Alpine White

What do you think? I like the JDM+Euro look. I have always owned Hondas (3 S2000s and now a Civic Si), and I love Volk Racing rims. Check the link to see how they look on a white Si.

I say go for it IF you have the money.
They are effing expensive as hell.
But yes, I've always liked JDM+Euro combo as well, and I'm expecting to get some JDM wheels (either Gram-Lights or G-Games) on my future 135i

Volk doesn't seem to make many wheels for the larger sizes required by BMWs.

ur right, but most 1 series owners will not be running a typical larger style bmw rim. Most will get 18's which is very common size.

Even though 19s are awesome, i got OEM 19's on the m3, i want to buy new ones, but i couldnt swap them to the 135, so it would be pointless.

I don't think finding Volk wheels big enough will be a problem.

They're the Progressiv ME forged.
They run ~ $28 - 2900 for the 19s

I would like to note that the Mag wheels the OP is talking about isn't the usual Volk wheels...It's a special order wheel that costs $1700 EACH so for a set, it costs $6800.
Nice wheels, though, inTgr8r.

Current BMW owners, do us all a favor, when you see stupidity and ricer crap from Evo, WRX, Civic etc...who are thinking they are going to bust the bank and get a 135i, please stop them in their tracks and let them know that this kind of logic and styling is NOT BMW!!!

Don't bring your ricer crap from your Japenese rides to this brand please!!!

Don't compare how a wheel looks on a friggin CIVIC to a BMW thank you!!

Those wheels just look stupid. Thank you have a nice day.

Uh, no.
What logic are you talking about?
All I see is a suggestion for a set of good wheels.
And they look stupid? I assume you have a degree in ID...

I'm sorry but that has to be the most stupid and ignorant quote I have ever seen on this site. Go somewhere else with that crap man. Stuff like that deters people from the BMW brand. Seriously.

Mag Blue is a special order, but I don't think they are normally that expensive. Volk usually charges a 5-10% premium for special color orders (you can get almost any color you like).

Volk makes some of the highest quality wheels on the market. Yes, they are Japanese rims, but I have seem several BMWs with Volk rims that looked amazing. As far as the "break the bank" comment.........give me a break.

Looking back, I was thinking of a different wheel.
I thought you were talking about ForgedMag TE37 that came out as a special edition like a couple of months ago.
Those forged magnesium wheels do cost $1.7k each retail...
Here's a pic of it

Crockey was refering to mag blue the color, not the Forged Magnesium Racing TE37's. Those are big $$$$.

That said, I think that Mag blue on White, black, and sometimes light silver looks amazing. If I wan't partial to Gold on white so much, I'd get the blues on a 135i. (my S2000 has gold Volks right now) And if I remember correctly, Crockeys last S2000 with simple yet clean with bronze CE28N's on Black.
