Nice!
And this one is showing the shape of the right headlight: http://www.worldcarfans.com/spyphoto...1-series-coupe Too bad that it looks just like the current 1-series. |

Less Camo - More ?'s
Isn't this the same car that Advevo snapped last month sans roof-tape? And if it is...which model is it...M1? This photo from the same recent series kere and c4r posted. The roofline is gorgeous...substantial and graceful. 495 and counting Quality Posts |

I am soooo loving these pictures!!! I still think this is a 135i with M Sport package like Scott said. Do M's even have chrome strips over the windows....Anyways, AWESOME! The slow and painful striptease moves on.

Seeing these shots, it's like, "Wow, so this is it." I don't have any feelings of let-down. No reservations. I'm cool with the headlights- get it with xenons so you have that "angel eyes" effect and who cares if they look like the 3-er's. The wheels are money...just like that. And this blue?...it's like the new black; perfecto. |

No that was part of the deal. They had to take him back to Germany so he would not disclose the details of BMW's marketing genius. They bribed him with beer and donuts to get into the truck and when he woke up from the sugar and yeast induced coma he was stuck in Germany. Therefore, in order to test for the driving dynamics of the typical American, BMW allows him to drive the 1 series along with a counterweight in the passenger seat.

Maybe BMW is reserving the exhausts on each side of the bumper for the 3 series.(It'll be just about the only thing there leaving to the 3, since it'll have its engine!!)

Oneshot,
Your source is saying there WILL be 135? BTW, I just took a closer look @ the picture and I see FMIC (Yes, Intercooler).. Therefore this might very well be a Turbo engine... Any news on 2 door hatch in USA? ps: I added u to my myspace.. |

Humm... if they're making an 130i and an 135i then i think the later would have exhausts on both sides to differentiate them...
So I think this is either an 130i M sport or.... wait for it... An 125d M sport! No, seriously! Equipped with the new bi-turbo 2 litre diesel engine with something like 200bhp. I know it's the one I'd be able to afford in terms of fuel consumption out of the 3. |

Yes my source says there WILL be a 135i(limited) to hold us over until the M1 debuts at the END of next year. A two door hatch is very unlikely in my opinion. Thanks for the add!!

A year from now we'll all be feeling better, and hopefully I'm steering a 135i coupe to work every day.

But what about the top lap times?
Rather than seeing yet more recycled teaser photos, what would have been more interesting to learn from the photographer on site are the lap times on this Nürburgring test circuit. That'f far more indicative of performance and handling than exterior exhaust pipe placement or nuances of the headlamp perimeters.
