Real World Race Tire Storage Tips

I'm curious to hear some "real world" storage tips for r-compound tires for those of you who live in areas where temps drop below 30F. I've read the Hoosier Tire white paper---avoid sun light, store indoors, deflate to half psi. Do any of you have any other tips for storage of race tires? Thanks.

Bag them and keep them away from electrical motors.

Is it a magnetic field issue, heat issue?

Garage List
I have them in those tirerack storage bags...tiretotes? In the garage on their sides..not on the tread. I have them at normal pressures..I dont deflate..but then again...my winter is like 2 weeks in California..compared to some of you east coast guys with 4 months of winter.

Thanks, no winters here just curious that my tire guy recommended I reduce pressure to half while the tires are not in use,

I do the same here in Orange County. Basically just store them in trash bags tied up in my garage away from any uv rays. Im storing 140 tread wear tires too without a problem.

Crap, I never thought about storage. Currently my NT01s are up on a tire rack in the garage not covered. It's been damn cold too! So should I wrap them in something?
