What to do, what to do?

Currently leasing 2020 bmw x5 40i in white with
loaded up
merino leather
Premium excellence package
M sport
Laser lights
Air suspension
22 inch rims

10000 cad down
1210 a month with tax
4 year/80000
1210
i am 2.5 years into my lease

1.5 years left, i am at 63000 kms

Buyout at 40000 cad + tax

should i return to dealer?
Buy extended warranty by 80000km and keep
Trade in to dealer for the new x5 or ix
Will i get any benefits doing it now or drive it closer to 80000km before i return

similar situation as you. had leased a '20 x5 with the intention of getting the LCI. Then covid happened, BMW cut back on options and raised the base price. I saw no reason to upgrade to have less features and a higher payment. So I bought out my lease. I considered an extended warranty but after speaking with the wonderful folks here I decided to fix things as necessary.

Ya tough situation, cause i might be close to 90,000-95000 by the time is up
And the fees will kick in, warranty, tires, brakes
