PROcede v3.2 beta Take 2
Hi guys,
We got lots of good response from the last batch of maps that were mailed out last night and this morning. I have another round of updates for you guys to try. Those who have already received the first version of v3.2 beta will automatically get this new version. If you haven't received anything yet, email me at shiv@vishnutuning.com and I'll put you on the list. Just put "v3.2 Beta tryout" in the subject line of your email. Just Paypal me $20 for the update and we'll call it even. jk Tomorrow's new maps will be just like yesterday's but the the following changes: -Revised ignition timing corrections (more advance at and just off idle, less at 4000rpm between 0-2psi) -Lean cruise feature that enables during sustained cruise conditions. Should further improve MPG. -Changes to start-up logic that enable ignition timing changes only 4 seconds after initial start-up. So no effect on cold cranking/cold idle condition. You'll even be to hear a slight shift in exhaust note that occurs 4 seconds after start-up. Exhaust note will suddenly get deeper and more bass-y. And engine response (blips, revs, etc,.) will get much more responsive. It will be as if you installed a lightened flywheel without actually adding a lightened flywheel. And without any of the downsides (idle instability, easier to stall, etc,) And the transition from off-boost to on-boost will be even more seamless. Off-boost torque will also be better. As before, all these off-boost upgrades/updates have only been applied to Map1. Map2 is still like before. So you can toggle freely between them (with your remote control keyfob) and easily quantify the differences. Cheers shiv Last edited by OpenFlash; 01-14-2009 at 06:07 PM.. |

This is one of the reasons I like the PROcede, it's actually fun to download/hook up the laptop and load new maps!
I cant wait to get your email and load this newer map. Another reason to go on a drive |

Ya you get what you pay for.... Chips like AA Processor only have X amount of maps and rarely/never get updated. But you can pick it up for like $300. I dont mind forking over a couple extra bills knowing I'll have the latest and greatest. |

to be completely honest - the reason i bought the "other tune" in the first place was because of how incredibly disgusting the v3 pnp harness is.... the whole package looks like such an afterthought - compared to the "other tune" which looks purpose built

I dont see how this matters when its inside the ecu box, under the black covers, under ur hood and out of sight? Dont we buy tunes for how they drive rather than how they look? I mean if that were they case u should check out my new invisible tune v1.1. Its completely invisible and you can bring it into the dealer. Best part is you dont even need to open up ur hood to have it installed.... its only 199.99$. I can ship it out right now just paypal me...
