Anyone owned an 8 series?
Just wondered if anyone had owned one and if so what they thought to it?
They seem to be at a great price, I've driven one before and is lovely for what I want (apart from the really heavy brake pedal lol) Unfortunately it would be an 840 auto as no way could I afford the CSi won't be looking until spring and presume prices don't go up? Common known faults? Also last thing do they have a bad image attached to them? Can't say I've noticed one but perhaps others have?

I always liked the look of these.
One of my neighbours had one a few years ago and it looked pretty special. Some info here: http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...w-8-series.htm |

Problem is that most people sell cars like this when they need sh!t loads of money spending on them. A clutch would cost more than the cars worth for instance.
I liked em years ago but prob just a bag of trouble now unfortunately. |

More than likely, I won't let that get in the way of buying a car I liked though. Probably mad but hey ho! Fully aware if something properly major went you are probably more economically viable selling spares/repairs!
NFS thankyou for the review will have a proper read of that tomorrow!
