Ive never been a big fan of Silverstone as a race track from a spectator point of view, especially on those cold wet windy days - on the other hand i love Donno and although ive endured many VERY wet MotoGP races there, its great from a spectators viewing point of view and its also an awsome albeit daunting circuit for track days!!!

I'll go on record now and say there is no way they'll have the money in place and the work completed before the 2010 Grand Prix. Simon Gillett talks about feeding off of others negativity, but the fact is he needs a huge amount of money in a time when lenders are being very reticent to do so and there is a lot of work to achieve in less than 18 months. I personally don't see it happening in time.

I'm with you mate, I made a similar comment in another thread before christmas. Lots of work to do, lots of money required, and a bad economic climate.

I can't see it happening either.
