Front Electronic Module For F30

BMW 320i 2015 Base

My Door LEDs in front is not working so I bring my car to a garage. They have checked for 2 days and said that my FEM (Front Electronic Module) having a broken resistor (the one that maintains electric for 2 front door LEDs) pictures below:

They said that either I keep them (LEDs) shut like that or buying a new FEM. But keeping the recent FEM could leading to more potential electronic failures in the future.

What do you guys think? BTW anyone have a link to a FEM mentioned above? I'm really appreciated. Thanks all

I'd replace the resistor.

It is replaceable
with a duplicate resistor (not BMW specific). The resistor has color-coded bands on it that tell a tech exactly what spec resistor is needed. Any decent electronic shop should be able to replace for you.
