CarPlay Stretched Screen Issues

I am fairly new to BMW as a whole so I apologize in advance if I lack any knowledge. So I used Bimmer Tech’s VIN decoder to find out what head unit I had since my car had the 6.5” display with no navigation. I found out I had ENAVEVO even though Bimmer Code was showing NBTevo. So I got CarPlay coded through Bimmer Remote to get it enabled. I then used Bimmer Code to enable fullscreen Apple CarPlay. Now the screen is stretched and it’s kind of bugging me.

I checked Bimmer Code to make sure these were enabled
3001 EXBOX > DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display
3005 APIX_CID > CID_DISPLAY_SIZE = 8.8
3005 APIX_CID > CID_DISPLAY_RES = 1280x480
3006 NAVIGATION > DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION > 8.8=1280x480
3005 CARPLAY_FULLSCREEN > AKTIV

Is there anything that I am missing? My last 7 digits to my VIN are K384615.

Assuming it works like a computer screen you probably need to use different resolution. Finding the right one is probably a matter of trial and error.

You need firmware update to get it working properly - its not the coding problem, software is too old for properly working fullscreen. PM sent.

What would be too old software and what would be up to date version? I would assume that it would support full screen as it has the parameter for coding.

Mine is stretched in widescreen and it’s also a little bit stretched vertically in split screen mode but looks ok, widescreen is like setting 4:3 picture on 16:9 to fill screen.
