Check out the E90 by Lumma. I think i remember they using the M...M5? vents. Most body kits are for looks and have no function whatsoever but don't have the connotation of the M vents. So i vote to pass aswell. I'd maybe consider them if my fenders really needed replacing (knock on wood), but i'd probably still pass. It's almost like slapping an M badge on the rear of your car but you spent a whole lot more to do it.

I know on the 5er you can order side vents for an extra $500. I don't know about the e90, however.

I think that from the other posts, it would not be such a great idea. Use your money for something else like new tires that we will all need next year.

the problem i find with sidevents and quad pipes on a non m car is that people will always label u as a m3 wannebe or m3 poser. if u are fine with that, no probs.

I think side vents would add some aggression to the styling.

the m5 e60 side vents seem to be a hit with singaporeans on 520is and 523is. fairly cheap mod compared with the original m5 new door mirrors. are after market bmw side vents popular in the USA?

Look at attached picīs - okay, itīs a E60, but NOT an M5.
I found the picīs in an German BMW-Forum, as I know itīs only a
520i, the owner put also very nice tires and a 4-pipe-exhaust on it - like from M5.

this german car side fender with vents looks better with m rather than m5 wording. most of the singapore guys put the m5 badge on. wondered how it will look for the e90 but will resist the temptation.
