Anyone on Ingolstadt?

OK...so I was tricked! I thought our baby 330xi was on the Elecktra that left on the 10th...my dealer just faxed me the status and she really left on the 9th on the Ingolstadt!!!

Has anyone been able to get a location to track it? I tried this website: http://206.103.2.35/GctApp/search?id=tracker and K-line says it will be in Charleston on the 24th. Also tried the other sites (sailwx, oceanweather, uscg...) to find a location and come up blank.

All I can find is that the port expects it to dock on the 24th.

My BMW journey world map is looking spartan!

Only a few weeks left!

this is the ship i am on... but the dealer said it was to arrive on the 22nd in SC.

i thought i was on the don carlos... according to the dates of arrival. wrong i was.

Since my PCD date is already set for June 12, it doesn't really help me that the ship is early. But that's good news for anyone on that ship taking delivery at their dealer.

Just got a call from my dealer..They get it on Tuesday!! WHOOOHOO!!!

BUT...my wife is New York and I can't pick it up till the 3rd

(she has to come too!)

dealer told me tonight my car is showing up on their computer as... in transit from port (on truck or rail) to vpc.

a better update hopefully tomorrow.

she is on the truck in route to the dealer(s).

Arrrgghhh!!!!!

My Dealer just called. Our baby xi just arrived in Kansas City! 4 days early!

But darn it all to heck I have to wait for my wife to return from NY before I can pick it up!!

Why oh why must I be tempted so! Man I can't wait. This will be my 2nd BMW in 6 years and I sorely miss my old coupe.

well it didn't get here today... pisser. :mad:

the dealer talked to the truck driver and it will be at the dealer waiting for them to open tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

i had stongard schedule for install on monday... window tint on tuesday... looks like everything will be moved to later in the week.

oh well... had to vent. bummed.
