Hello Guys,

Finally installed AC Schnitzer Spring Kit today,
Weather was fine in the morning but dark and raining now, so I took "After" picture with my phone for quick comparing,

Nice!, I really like that drop. Looks perfect. Not to low.

What are the specs on the spring kit? Spring weights, etc.

What did those set you back? I was thinking Eibach, but that does look very nice. I hear that the spring rate is just about right too.

Looks sick with the drop. Subtly aggressive!

Actually I don't have specs on the spring kit, I mean exact numbers, but it was slightly lighter than OEM springs.

Since I couldn't find lowering meaurement info from ACS website or thier catalogue,
I've emailed to cecwheels and ac-schnitzer.de to find out exact front and rear measurement,
Answer from cec : It's approx. drop 30-40mm
And another answer from acs german : Our spring kit for the E92 M3 will lower the vehicle about 20mm, measured in the middle of the car
I believe Eibach makes ACS springs, I feel ACS springs are just little bit stiffer than OEM, no bumpy at all, pretty much same as OEM.

cool pics. I love the way the 18's look with a modest drop.

I keep hearing that springs take a little while to settle, and that the car's stance gets lower. Have you noticed this since the install?

Gotta give it about a week or two to fully settle. On other cars I waited up to a month before doing final alignment to allow the springs to settle.

That's what I heard, and that's why I didn't get alignment check yet but in next week, just little more time for springs to get settled.

No complain yet, Ride quality is pretty good, had them installed on 5th, and I got alignment checked today, it seems like my fronts are little bit lower than the first day.

No EDC issues I assume...I will have to take the plunge and get a good alignment at the same time.
