Suggest a Phone App Similar to Torque for iOS

Hello, I use the Torque app for monitoring I/C temps, F/P and oil and coolant temps with my Andriod. Torque is an inexpensive app that does what I need. Is there something similar to this for the iPhone?

Also, looking for an OBD II BT device for iPhone to work with this app.

Thanks everyone for your input.

Best bet is to just buy something like MHD's monitoring module so you get full datalogging and monitoring capabilities.

Didnt quite follow, are you saying you are just looking for a wireless solution? Does the MHD adapter work with BM3? i thought it did and looks cheaper than that

You can use any wifi enet adapter out there. I use the Kies one. BM3 is also coming out with their own custom one.

Mhd wifi adapter works great. Pulls up all the gauges you need as well.

I use torque pro to datalog my 3000gt. So it should have that functionality.

Also you say you dont need to, so i can only assume your car is stock?

Does it really? I never saw where it can do that. I will have to look.

My car is Just the Run of the mill FBO Stage 2+. No fueling upgrades and added Turbosmart Bov. I will soon get get the xhp trans tune but I'm in no hurry. My car is used for daily purposes so unless I'm having issues I don't see an immediate need to datalog. My fast car is on another platform so I have fun in that from time to time

Yes, with pro version you can datalog to CSV file.

Well, my 2c is to datalog at least once a month if you are tuned/modded. Consider it a general checkup. You can notice something before it becomes a real issue. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1732327

There is a data logging add-on for Torque. I used it several years ago. Cannot remember the name though.

Be aware that OBD dongles are not created equally. Difference on how many PIDs they can handle and how fast. If you want a reasonable resolution on your logs then go for a better dongle like OBDLink.

If you have the torque pro app on andriod (paid version), datalogging is built in to the same app.

2nd part is 100% true. I ended up having to switch from bluetooth to USB wired when datalogging my 3000gt since BT was only like 8 pids/sec. So if you have 8 parameters logging, you only get 1 second resolution which is terrible.
