So what did you do for New Year?

Anyone had a great party or dressed up as an interesting character?

I played hostess! Had a party round mine. Didn't go out in the cold! Sang Auld Langs Syne round the piano and all ended nice and civilised! No unwanted guests all in all a lovely evening, hope everyone else had fun.

Well, we had a wee boy on 13th Dec, so new year [for me] consisted of 3 beers, Motzarella toastie and some pressed English Apple juice, while sitting in jammies / goonie and watching movies!

Went to a friends house party - they have a huge victorian house so was quite good fun, albeit a little quiet on the guest front. They have made a games room in the cellar so was playing snooker/pool for a good while of it!

All gathered round in a circle at midnight to sing the usual Auld Lang Syne, etc and wish everybody a Happy New Year

Red Sounds a gorgeous location I'd love a big old Victorian house of my own but my mate had to put up with my small Victorian two up two downs lol.

At least we had a proper piano to sing round and someone to play it (me) lol.

While being civilised can't say ours was that quiet!

Oil Las Vegas wow that would be awesome, So what your paying once in a lifetime opportunity!

^^ I had that for Christmas, just getting over it now. Wasn't 1/2 as bad at new year as I was on the run up to and during Christmas tho.

Had it two weeks now, and a chest infection, which I've finally got anti-biotics for!

Came out to stay at the 'olds' place in Banus.
Spent NYE in Orange square in Marbella for the street party/celebrations. Great night.

I drove to southern France Thursday and Friday and then drove all 886 miles back on Sunday. That's rather coincidental since the bridge I went to see was 886 feet high.

Went to New York. To sum up....

Very busy

Very very expensive

Very very very cold

Still...much better than any UK New Years that I've had.
