Quick SP-daten Clarification

Hello all! I've been browsing these forums for a couple of years, but I finally registered.

I've downloaded SP-daten files from bimmergeeks and did the following to update in BMW Coding Tools:

1) Set default folders
2) Select SP-source (the extracted bimmergeeks SP-daten)
3) Update SP-daten and Update WinKFP

Can I delete the SP-daten files I downloaded from bimmergeeks now?

Also, is that everything I need to do to make sure all my files are up-to-date?

Well there are daten's beyond that but they probably won't
change the way the car works much.

I wouldn't update just for the sake of updating.
