Red face USPS Is Mad Slow Or Package Is Lost?

i always used USPS for my shipping needs with bigger items with fedex/ups. i never sent anything out before a major holiday so im just noob at this one .

i sent a package out on 12/22 via priority with signature confirmation, and based on the tracking it still says "accepted" at my local post office. it is the 27th now with the holiday season over. i don't think my package is lost but is held up in holiday traffic?

ups/fedex always have good holiday comebacks i guess i can't say the same for USPS and i really do want them to use a more high-tech tracking like fedex/ups instead of the 2 step process of "acceptence" and "delivered" haha.

usps tracking sucks. it won't usually update until it's at the destination post office. there have been delays with every shipping carrier due to the holiday season. be patient, it will get there soon i'm sure.

i have a package en route to me on UPS, it's been delayed 2 days because of holiday shipping.

^ yea i was hoping that but without the tracking updating there is no way to tell it surely blows . if i sent it via fedex/ups it would have updated the delivery date and at least show my every step of my packages journey .

but by far USPS is the cheapest and fastest (non holiday ) shippers around.

usps priority mail in the flat rate boxes is the only way to go if you're not shipping anything big...but the tracking blows. oh well, still gets there.

That's why its cheaper.. You get what you pay for. On another note, did you know DHL is discontinuing its service in the U.S by the end on January 09?

Garage List
I just got my M-tech steering wheel from them this morning. My wheel was shipped from Poland on 12/16. I will blame the lateness on the holiday season.

Yeah they are. They're a German based company. I guess the U.S market wasn't doing it for them.

It's the holiday plus USPS also cut a large number of staffing. Everyone with under 3 years experience got cut. So be easy.
