I just figured out via the WW website (http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto) that my car is on the Don Carlos. Just go to Auto Tracking and input your VIN. It left Bremerhaven on the 10th and is due to arrive in SC on the 22nd. Anyone else on board?

I just went to the W&W site, entered my VIN, and found out I'm on the Don Carlos with you. I'm signed up for the Performance Center Delivery in Spartenburg for June 12th. Looks like I'm paying a pretty big time penalty, but it should be worth it.

That's too bad - you could always look into moving your flight up. Probably only cost you $50-100. FYI, the Don Carlos is still sitting in the Zeebrugge port.

Andrew and Golfguy - call your dealer. They can tell you which boat you are on. Apparently, some people's VIN never register with WW.

Spoke to my CA. Looks like I am on the Ingolstadt, left Bremerhaven on the 9th. I have a June 12 PCD also. Now all I need to do is find a cheap flight to SC.

my dealer told me today...

the car was to leave port on... may 9th but it ended up leaving on the 10th.

the car should arrive on the 23rd or 24th according to his prediction in SC.

so... what ship am i on??? don carlos

Malvoe1 - thanks for the update on ship tracking! My wife has been accusing me of being just a little obsessive compulsive with my car purchase. She may be right, but I'm glad it appears I'm not alone in wanting constant updates!

Ha, I know my friends think I am crazy. All I have to say to that is: "God bless the internet." The fact that we can find port schematics showing the location of the boat our cars are on is just ridiculous.

vin still not showing up but...

dealer called today and stated... the name of the ship was "ingolstadt". what ship is this?

the dealers info was... ship left port on 5/10 & arrives in SC on 5/22.

It is not nearly as exciting when you can't track your ship. No sign of the Don Carlos on oceanweather and Sailwx shows it near Japan (March 6th). Any other ship-tracking sites out there?

with the 1.800 number... once your cars is in transit (on the ship)... the system CAN'T provide ANY additional assistance. you will need to contact your dealer for any further updates.

i learned this personally today from a cs rep at the 1.800 number.
