Boxing Day Treats on the road

Went out at lunchtime and drove about 8 miles and I saw about 5 cars on the road.

But 2 were not everyday sights.

1st in this exact traditional livery:

And this was in the red I would love to have this in the garage.

Both made me smile/

They are not the actual cars they are examples of the cars with pics of the web. I drove down some back roads today and only saw about 5 cars today and these were 2 of them. It's just nice to see stuff like this on the road as they are so few and far between nowadays.

I followed a G60 Corrado last week in perfect condition in purple colour similar to M3 techo violet. I get a kick out of seeing these kind of cars in original condition as most modern cars are very similar.

I dont get a kick ou tof corrados at all but i do get what your saying. I love seeing Escort or saff cossies on the roads. Best one was an RS200 which i had to spin round and go after a few years ago. Pulled him over. Was amazing.

Best car ive seen this week was a Murcielago in Walthamstow on sat.

Gah where do you live - the 1950s? I was travelling at lunchtime and queued for miles around the M25, took a detour to avoid Hindhead on the A3 as I was told it was queueing heavily, argued with the sat nav trying to force it not to take me back to where I wanted to avoid and arrived an hour late on a journey that should only take an hour and a half.

5 cars!

Nice Quattro though.
