Need touch up paint
Hi guys, my car got a decent sized ~1cm across chunk of paint removed on rear bumper. It is mineral white metallic, is there a better source of touch-up paint than BMW?
Also there was a small nick taken out of the gray part of the bumper below the white paint. Any idea what is the the touch-up paint to get for the gray part of the bumper? Any suggestions on how best to handle this type of repair? I assume that this won't be the last time since the bumper has nothing that would absorb light impacts before the white paint. Thanks, Derek |

Have heard good things about Dr Color Chip.
I just used Scratches Happen was was impressed with the variety of applicators and brushes that they supplied with the kit. (vs the nail polish brush on the OEM touch-up) https://scratcheshappen.com I hear mineral white is hard to touch up, compared to Alpine. Let us know how it goes. |

mineral white does look troublesome
I checked the Dr. Colorchip website and it says that mineral white metallic is a 3 stage paint, so it can't be an exact match. The BMW touchup kit only gives 2 stages. This is kind of a bummer.
Not sure which will match better, might have to order both. |
