Just talked to my CA, said my car is scheduled to start production Jan. 3rd

getting closer!!

now the wait begins? hehehe, the wait started Dec. 6th when I first ordered her!!!

Now at least it feels like there's progress, hopefully it's on the 1st January boat out to the states!!!!!

Do you mean Feb. 3rd for production date? I can't imagine you have a production date of Dec. 3rd if you ordered the car on Dec. 6th, and the plant doesn't open again until Jan. 12th.

Either way, the wait blows. The only time I don't think about my car is when I'm working...and then I only think about it half of the time.

My production date is Jan 3rd also. So what does this mean? How much longer do I have to wait after that? I thought factories in Germany were closed in Jan anyway.

Will you have to pay the price increase or will the dealer hold to the deal you made prior to the 0.7% increase goes into effect?

The price I originally was quoted, is the price i'll pay - they can't retroactively adjust the price here in California.

besides i have a signed order, with all the detailed pricing on it - they'll have to stick to it.

Apparently they are only mostly closed, my CA said they are still working.

and i figure it goes something like this:

Jan 3rd - Jan 7th production

]an 8th, waiting for transport

Jan 10th - Jan 31st, in transport

Feb 1st - at the dock

it still seems like a long time off... but getting closer!

The nice thing is, our cars are probably going to be first in line to get on the boats, since they are the first cars being built after the close. So that means, no waiting for our cars to be transported !!
