You probably dont have to learn another language just to get by. Alot of people dont know english and they get by. I'm lucky enough to know both chinese and english, I dont find chinese very difficult to type. Like all things they just take getting use to.

It takes me hours to type just a few words in greek. I cant imagine trying chinese, maybe if you had a chinese keyboard. But how can you type thousands of different letters using a normal keyboard.

Just think of every stroke as a alphabet. THey also have alot of different tools that can help you. Theres this pad that i use to use with a pen and I was able to do like two or three strokes and the full character would appear. Its super fast, its actually faster than when i type in english. Just think of it as waving your pen very quickly two times and a character appears.

However english is still my strongest language since i was born in USA and been living in NY for my whole life vs just 4 years of chinese school.

LoL are you sure? Koreans have alphabets just like english. I cant see why they would have to do that. But then again I dont know korean. But i am pretty sure they have alphabets.

Chinese on the other hand dont have alphabets, but we do have a way of organizing the different strokes to a character and depending how u input the strokes, is how u form the character. The # of strokes that we need to utilize is less than the # of alphabets int he english language, so we actually dont even need to use the full keyboard. lol
