anyone driving M3 in the snow....

My car is in Seattle BMW waiting for a part from Germany to fix a 'check engine' light issues - faulty idle valve regulator..

They gave me a 328XI as a loaner for the past week.. I'm having fun driving it in the snow. I'm impressed how well it is performing with all season tires..

Anyone driving their M3 in this weather with/without winter tires???

Gawd No. I can't even get it back into the garage with the stock 18s on it. It's sitting on a VERY slight inlcine. I cleared a large area in front of it and we got her moving forward, but as soon as she got back on some ice, she just spun and spun and spun. No way was I going to shovel 25 yards of driveway! I'm hoping we'll get some rain this weekend!

We've had the 328xi out of the garage for about 2 weeks now. Some new Blizzaks should be here at the end of next week, then we'll see how the M3 does. I'm pretty glad we didn't sell the 328xi yet.

Nope...read my post here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...52#post3857952

You'd be really stupid/in a snowbank to drive in snow on PS2s. At least mine is in a dry, not too cold garage.

Wow that's a lot of snow on the M3. Poor car.

She's safe and sound in the garage now. The warmer temps and rain last night, plus an hour of shoveling this morning, and I got her in the garage. It'll make it much easier to turn my CrewCab around now too I think I'm gonna need a bit more Zaino to clean her up though.

Things have mostly melted off here--I drove to work today.
