Help: 545i Cracked OME Sports Package Wheel Replacement

I have been loosing air pressure in my front right tire for the past few weeks now...and discount tire finally figured out the issue. The inside of my rim (style 124) have a V shaped 1/4 inch crack. I called the dealer and they quoted me $450.

Anyone know where I can get "jus one" OEM wheel from other than the dealer...It can even be used...actually I would perfer a used one.

buy the new one.... the new rim has a re-inforced lip that is much beefier than the cracked one you have.

expect the other ones to crack as well.

the old one's inside of the rim has a lip like this: (these are generic pics)

you can put a clip weight on it.

the new one will look like this:

i know this is the front of the rim, but it will look like this on the back of YOUR rim.

you cant put a clip weight, and have to use stick weights.

This site has a front wheel for just over $350 (but then again, it says that MSRP is $387)

I've never personally purchased anything from them, but they are supposed to be an actual BMW dealership.

i dont want you to be dissapointed if the rim cracks again, ok?

its the design of the rim..... just the nature of the beast.
