Who is the Stig?
This photo of The Stig is on Autotrader at the moment, who do you reckon it is?
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/EDITORIA..._round_up.html Looks a little like Jason Plato to me....

I have a theory? I think it there may be more than one stig?
There's been more than a few occassions where I could swear his body shape differs on some episodes? Check out back to back re runs and look at the width of his shoulders etc. On one episode I could clearly see a gut? Unless of course the stig is a part time bodybuilder? |

I'm with roofer on this one ^^^ He has actually appeared as himself on a number of episodes (mostly the 5-aside football double decker cars type ones). He was also listed in the incident report as present at the site when Hamster had his crash in the jet car.

This is true have a look at the Health and Safety Executives report to Hammonds crash and then all is revealed.I was told by someone who knows Clarkson quite well that there are actually 3 different Stigs dependant on the time of the year and professional activities/testing.
When we lent the Show a 360CS ferrari, it was driven by the professional driver of the owners request and not by the STIG. |

Like roofa said, its Ben Collins. Although several are used.
When the Renault F1 car went round TG test track it was Kovaleinen.
