Differences in Icon Headlights

Looking to get myself a 330e with icon headlights, i think every one i can see on autotrader the printing on the headlight says BMW LED not adaptive. Was there a change sometime as what i have read says it should say Adaptive if its an Icon headlight.

Sample attached which the dealer has said the car has the m sport plus package and seconded with icon adaptive headlights in the description. But to my untrained eye they look like normal LED.

Correct, I’ve always bought cars with vis pack or IA and they always say adaptive LED on the headlight.

Do you have a link to the car?

F30 LCI comes with LED non adaptive (low beam on bottom) and adaptive (low beam on top). They look very similar.

In the US adaptive came bundled with FLA so it makes it easy to tell by looking at the wiper stalk for the FLA button. Not sure about UK though.

Non Adaptive (only lights up on bottom)

Adaptive (low beam on top high beam on bottom)

Thanks that's a helpful photo, I can see the position of the reflector as very much central vertically on the adaptive
