Options on used car

Without a window sticker, how can I tell what options the car was built with for certain. I'm looking at an 07 335 with idrive and for example, I'd like to know if it was built wired for sat radio.

Can a BMW dealer tell me this, anywhere else?

It should have Sat. radio, check the idrive menu and look for the SAT at the top . Lots of the options are pretty noticeable, like sport package will have the sport seats and a thicker wheel.

You could call the dealer and see if they will help you, some may not want to full with it since your not buying from them. You could check the parts dept. out they can check the car by vin also and tell you what options you have.

If the car has the shark fin, does that mean it has sat or is that the GPS transponder?

The shark fin is for Sirius.

Also, you can drive it under water near the beach and use it to scare surfers.

car is wired for it but you'll have to pay $$ to software reflash at the very least. my car has the fin, i dont have sat radio
