Good Evening everyone,

Is Dravit Grey available on the 40i in the US?

Also, is it still a Priority 1 addition at $1,950 and does it add a certain number of weeks to the build?

Greatly appreciate any insight on this. Thank you & take care.

I believe only on the M50 / M

Interesting…I’m assuming you’d still be able to special order that color though? Thanks for the reply by the way

As mentioned, only available on the M50i. Last I saw, Priority 1 paints couldn't be ordered as Individual paints but of course that could have changed. Best to have your CA request it and see if it gets approved.

inquire through the BMW Individual process through your CA. it requires approval. note that some colors will delete Lane Change Assistant, but I don't believe DG is one of them. again, check with your CA

May I ask why? How does color and a software feature cannot co-exist?

Because BMW does not test/certify the Individual paints to work with the sensors. The take rate is not high enough to justify the cost. Mainly it is the different metallic paints that can have different effects.

I wish Dravit Grey was available on the 45e in the US as it is in Canada. I know it's an upcharge in Canada but it isn't the full $5K individual color option.
