2018 330i, should I buy it?
Found a 2018 330i x drive with 39,900 miles on it for $26,500. It’s got heated seats/wheel, navigation, and premium wheels. I’ve owned a 2016 328i 6MT previously, loved it and should’ve kept it. Looking to get back into a BMW but don’t know much about the 330i or the xdrive system. I’d prefer rwd 6MT but they’re too hard to find. Anything to watch out for with these cars?

Haven't had many problems with ours. Just the typical battery bs, and blew a coolant line that was expensive, beyond that, no issues. The AWD is phenomenal if you want to keep it straight in the snow/rain, and in sport+ it let's you have a bit of fun too. Not quite the RWD experience, but not bad for what it is.

Ah ok, saw you’re in Nova Scotia. I worked in Halifax for a couple weeks a few years ago, loved it there. I’m a trailer park boys fan as well 👍🏼

Love my 330i. The B46 is wayyy better than the N20. Smooth and quiet. I find the car plenty powerful and turns excellent fuel mileage.

In this market that looks like a pretty good price. I say buy it. You’ll love the B46. It’s a significantly improved motor over the N20/26.

I had a recall on a coolant line during my last oil change about a month ago. Maybe it was related to that. The SA said it wasn't critical so that's why I wasn't notified directly.

I've definitely driven my car hard more than a few times, typical cruising speed is 140 kph, and if the highway is open and clear, I'll hit the limiter at 210. In the winter it gets drifted around for 5 or 10 minutes with a good layer of snow on the road. |
