Ready to lease - looking for opinions
Hi everyone - im new here - I must say that i'm pretty impressed with the site so far.
My X3 lease is just about done and i'm definately looking for a coupe. I must say that I am pretty happy with the way my X3 handled and its speed (in sport drive). so I recently test drove an 09 335xi and i must say that i wasnt that impressed with its acceleration. The salesman in the car told me that the all wheel drive is a bit slower than the rear wheel drive. so im feeling that its not really worth the extra money for the 335 vs the 328. so i guess my question is - is it worth me getting the 335i ? |

Sounds like a 328i is perfect for you. Granted I have never driven xi, but the difference between 328i and 335i accel is night and day. Would recommend driving both back to back and then make your final decision.

I have a 335xi and the acceleration is brutal. However, my car is pre-29.2 therefore it starts pulling from 1500 rpms.
I have driven both 335i and xi and the difference in acceleration between the 2 is minimal. Actually, it feels stronger on the xi since it jumps off the line. |
