The cats cleaned the floor today

Wifey woke me up this morning to tell me she thought she heard the Roomba running around. I got up to check and sure enough, there it was cleaning away. I caught it as it was banging up against one of the water bowls for the cats. One of our cats must have stepped on the Clean button on the top of the Roomba. With the model I have, there's no way to disable that button. I'll have to rig something up to keep that from happening again.

All that said, it ran for almost an hour and did a good job of cleaning the floors even without the usual prep work of removing obstacles. I'm just glad there wasn't a pile of cat gak anywhere.

Duh - they were matching to the shark suit - those don't come in a lot of 'modern-neutral' color schemes.

That was the standard wall colour for the Canadian Fisheries Vessels for years. I don't know if it's still being used at present. It was nick-named "Seasick green".

It detects baseboards, furniture, etc. a couple of inches before it reaches them, and it slows down.

Every day it's a battle with the youngest pup - he somehow figured out the docking button and sends it home after it starts. Sometimes right away - sometimes he lets it go for a few minutes.

The higher end models with the laser or whatever are like that, I upgraded a couple years ago.Much nicer they're not as hard on your chair legs and whatnot.

I have one for both floors and I love them, I've got a 70 lb shed monster so I'll be vacuuming three times a week without them.
