yea i know but its not like ima use the one you guys give me...ill just get a rough idea in what direction i wanna go with naming my plate.

I really think it depends on who you are -- your job, your hobbies, your attitude, your personality (e.g., are you bold, cocky, aggressive, modest, respectful, nice guy, tough guy...)

I would focus more on what to avoid -- for example, I would choose something that anyone is going to be able to decipher over something cryptic (unless it happens to look really cool)....I would also pick something that wouldn't look dated in a few years....nothing that suggests who your favorite band is now, for example, or no phrases that are just a current buzzword. I think last names are sometimes kinda nerdy, since other people don't really care what your last name is, and don't think "oh, that is Jones' car!"

BTW, I think you have to pay a yearly premium at registration renewal, not a one-time cost. Something to consider.

if I had a 335i and got a personalized plate.. it'd be "I6TTFTW"

My plate says "MK786"....which has some personal significance....however, i toiled with the idea of putting "GFU", standing for "Go Fuck Urself"....That way if anyone ever asked me, "Hey, what does your plate stand for", I could just look over at them and say, "Go Fuck Urself" and drive off........that's if they looked like a prick.....if they seemed nice, then I could always just say it means, "Good For U"........
