Random question.....

I know this may seem random but what occupies the space a spare wheel normally would or is there no space there?????

sorry cant phrase it any better than that....

So is there no empty space if you pull up the carpet in the bott????? just always wondered because i have never had a car with run flats.....

from my trunk - 2006 325i sedan - the space underneath the carpet is half unusable and half a deep storage bin where i put my owners manual and stuff. at pickup it's empty i think

On a 325/325/328 (ie. single exhaust), that space under the trunk mat looks just about big enough to fit a doughnut spare, but not big enough for a regular spare.

For a 335, that space is like 1/5 of the above, due to extra exhaust and muffler components.

I'm terrible at eye-ing dimensions but i'd say around 2ft long x 2ft wide x 3 feet deep but honestly I wouldn't trust my guess
