BW vs HK hardware differences

First things first I'm not an audiophile so be gentle.

I was bumping around bimmercode yesterday at my son's soccer practice and found out how to enable the sound profiles from BW it is cool to choose the profiles and they are different from just the eq setting on HK. Sounds fine to me but it got me wondering what the actual differences are in hardware is there a better amp system, speakers, etc.

Anyone have any insight? Also probably doesn't matter but my car is 2019 base HK stock.

Better speakers. Better amplifier. Different DSP processing.

B&W is certainly an improvement, but still not anything close to an audiophile-grade system.
