M5 CS EU spec yellow lights coding as DRL

Hi,

I do not know how it is in the US but in Europe the stripes are yellow only when unlocking the car and with low beam lights on. In position 0 and with DRL they change to white.

Can anyone help me with coding DRL's to yellow all the time?

I have Bimmercode with Android but I have no clue where to look when I go into expert mode.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I emailed RG and he said he'd need it in the shop for a few days to figure out how to do it. So I guess waiting on that.

Thanks for the info. I guess I have to wait...
Do you plan on doing it on your car? Or do US spec M5CS already have that?

It's the same in the US. It's only on for me in these scenarios:

- car running without headlights on
- car is not running but right after you open the door

The second one is weird to me. Why not just make this the behavior when you unlock the car? I'd be interested in the yellow lights all the time for sure.

So it seems that it is a little different.
In Europe yellow lights are on when:
- low beam lights are on (but yellow is not 100%, more like 50%)
- opening the car.
In 0 position (lights off) the stripes are white.

In Europe it is against the law but it's a stupid law so I decided to ignore that

So we have yellow on the small outter DRL when low beams are on. I guess that would be 50% of the lights but more like 30% based on size. Either way.. it looks dumb with part yellow and part white.

I'm not sure this if this is from coding the same lights or what but pretty sure he's referring to this post:

That looks like a regular M5 dressed as a CS or are my eyes deceiving me? (Looking at the seats)

How do you even source the CS headlights already? Or is the color change via programming trickery?

He's in China so who knows. They are genuine cs stuff. Random rich guy in a communist country. Probably part of the mafia.
