How accurate is BMWs Payment Estimator
I equipped the 330i the way I want it and it comes out to be $39,370 which includes $695 destination. I talked to my Sales Rep over the phone and he is willing to give me $1K off. (might be able to negotiate more in person)
Assuming the figures above with no money down on a lease, BMWUSA.com estimates my payments to be $554 a month for 36 months @ 12K miles/yr Tax is not included in this so an addtional 9% for PA lease tax and I figure ~$604/month. Does this seem to be an accurate payment? How does this compare to what you guys are paying a month on similar terms? And besides tax, tags, and destination what else can I expect them to rack me for when signing? (security deposit, etc.) |

typically you should expect to pay about $50-75 dollars less than the bmwusa.com payment estimator. Go in person. You should be getting at the very least 2k off msrp at this point. My 330i msrp was 43245. I got 2k off but this was a while ago. My lease came out to $517 a month with taxes and first months payment upfront. They also got me with a $600 bankfee that you migth have to pay also. Other than that you shouldnt be paying anythign else. 9% tax is rough. I remember doing the lease on bmwusa.com before i went to make the deal and it was around $590 with taxes up front. For your car you should be in the $500-510 a month range with taxes , first months payment, possible bank fee? edit: if this is your first bmw youll also have to pay a security deposit.

The BMW payment estimator is spot on, except for the fact that it does not include tt&l.

The estimator is high, and I can't understand why because if a buyer was doing research on the web, he may longer consider the car. I'd ignore it if I were you and start shopping around at the dealers.
Best of luck and welcome to the club!!! |
