Anyone installed the luggage compartment drawer?

My wonderful wife got me a present. The OEM Luggage Compartment Drawer.

She got all the right parts, but it didn't come with any installation instructions or other documentation. Anyone know where I might find enough to help me install this?

I think she paid closer to $200 online, but to each his own. I still find $700 for Xenons to be highway robbery, but most people here seem to put that at the top of their must-have list.

Never mind. It was pretty easy. Took all of 5-10 minutes, most of which was trying to decide if there was some trick to getting the required adapters to seat properly in the back of the trunk.

And by way of a mini-review, it seems like a nice (if overpriced) accessory. It doesn't eat up too much vertical space (typical suitcases should still fit in the trunk just fine, and it's pretty easy to pop the drawer itself in & out, so if you know you're going to be transporting lots of big stuff in the trunk, you can just pop it out. There is even a nylon strap on the side that will then hold the floor hatch open (since the drawer obstructs access to the latch at the top of the trunk.

Only problem now is the rest of my trunk is basically empty, so the other bag or two I usually have back there are going to be sliding around a lot.

That's a pretty cool accessory. I might have to look into one of those...

it's been available pretty much since the inception of E90. Be wary though, it's a rattle trap.

Get a trunk tray. It will prevent sliding and hold fluid.

Damn skippy it was. Very thoughtful wife to track that down.
I think thats a cool little accessory but since I lease prolly not worth renting it. If I owned it would be FedEx rush.

You could likely sell it (or move to another Bimmer) when the lease was up. As easy to uninstall as to install.
