Lease End Deal on 330

BMW is offering to sell my son his 330 at lease end with a buy-down of $3,000 and an approximate 2.75% interest rate. He would be buying his loaded 06 330 with 36,000 miles for $25,000. Is this a good deal? His lease is up on December 7. Thanks.

Is it BMWFS directly that is offering the buydown and interest rate or your dealer?

I bought my not CPO'd '06 330i in October for 24.6K. Premium, sport, 6mt, most options, but no Nav. In good but not perfect shape. I'd say it's a fair price. Most CPO'd '06's I looked at were in the 28/31K range. 2.75% for how many years? As long as the payments are in the budget, I'd say all is good. I think you can add a little value because you know the cars history, (good or bad). Also, I think if they CPO it, you get more warranty. Maybe make that a deal breaker.

Its an ok deal if you way in the fact that you know the car. CPO'd cars are selling for the same price. On top of that BMW is offering 0.9% and paying the first two months payments. I agree with Quentin. If you can get the car for 25k, cpo'd and the 0.9% financing and the two payments, then it would be a great deal.

On Friday BMW FS would not make the car a CPO as part of the deal, however they increased the buy-down to $4500. The interest rate for 5 years stayed at 2.9%. My son accepted this fine deal. Thanks to all those that posted here with the excellent advice.
