Coolant Leak Help!

Hi so I just installed a new radiator and I have a leak coming for a line connecting to the radiator under the lower radiator hose. It is on the passenger side. I was just wondering what the part would be. It’s not the hose itself it’s the plastic piece and the radiator. (N54 E92AT)

I also looked into my coolant expansion tank and saw a coolant level thing just sitting in the corner of the coolant tank. Idk if it’s supposed to be there.

It's leaking from the plastic part on the radiator where you connect the hose to?

If it's leaking from there, it's either not pushed on well enough (sometimes it can be a BITCH to get it sealed on correctly) or it's a manufacturing defect and you'll need a new one.

My dude, you really have to be clearer with what you’re saying. Your post is incredibly ambiguous. A pic or two would really do wonders too. Will try to help here though.

You just installed a new radiator. Okay. What brand? I take it you replaced it because the old one was leaking? If so, was it leaking from the same area this new one is leaking from? Just want to be sure that whatever this leak is doesn’t have any relationship to an existing problem.

You mention a leak coming from a line connecting to the radiator under the lower radiator hose… Is the leak related to the AT fluid cooler? You should have four hoses connector to your radiator: two large and one small that connect with those clip-based couplings, and another small one that has a connector that you push in and then secure with a coarse thread screw.

As for your coolant expansion tank, it sounds like the level indicator has snapped—a pretty common problem.

The hoses have o rings that will cause leaks when connected to the radiator.

I bet its totally the black piece that connects to the other black piece.
