Show me your ear worm

Been hitting the rowing machine in the basement hard the last few months and had to dig up some music to get me through the grind. Naturally I rolled back to the 90's because as we all know the last great year in music was 1997 (Radiohead released OK Computer, TOOL released AEnema and it's been mostly shite ever since).

Anyways, had this floating about my brain for a month now, oddly enough I started playing it just 3 days before the lead singer died. It's been relentlessly in my brain since then.

This is a monster song, great transitions and the vocals are amazing. The video is also very good, especially the stop motion on the lead singer, it kinda works.

So, show me your current ear worm.

Never grow tired of listening to this one. Brilliant song, and excellent video to match.

RIP Taylor Hawkins

At least you all get decent ear worm songs. For some reason the ones that get stuck in my head on an endless loop are only terrible songs that I absolutely hate.

For running, I also go back to my standby: "Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb"

Well shit, I didn't know Mark Lanegan had died until four minutes ago. Damn, that really sucks. My favorite version of Mark Lanegan was the one where he was in Queens of the Stone Age.

New one!

Belter of a song, I don't think the rest of the world realise just how good Midnight Oil were and what stellar front man Garret was. He is a big guy, tall, muscular, intimidating and as you can see in the video, slightly crazy. Needs to be loud to appreciate.

dunno why, but i started humming this song at some point yesterday...then woke up at 327 AM, got up to use the bathroom, and when i laid down to get back to sleep, it started up in my head and kept me awake until my alarm...

power pop / punk pop / whatever-it's-called-with-lots-of-power-chords-and-a-catchy-melody always seems to stick with me.

and, yes, i am over 50...
