Service Light Still on After 1200 mile service

I just got my 1200 miles service done last week. When I start up my car, I'm still seeing the yellow triangular symbol on the bottom left of the navigation screen saying, "Service Due." Did the dealership forget to reset the light?

Yep, or they did not do the service!

It just got back from the dealership. I was there for about 10 min. All they did was reset the light. The tech just got in my car, shut the door, did some thing by holding down the reset button for the mileage while starting the car and it was done.

Nice! Good to know. Sort of like the iDrive reboot while driving - hold down the eject buttons on the CD, on the NAV DVD, and hit the radio power button simultaneously. If you do this, it's like a CTRL-ALT-DEL for iDrive. The car will still run and iDrive will reboot. Try it!

Same thing happened to me, but I had a red SERVICE light on.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
