What 12V tyre inflator do use?

As is the case with many new cars these days, my Model 3 comes with no spare, tool kit, inflator or slime.

It caught me out last week when a screw in the NSF tyre left me stranded at home, but the leaseco arranged ATS to attend ASAP and sort it out.

I'm now after recommendations for a 12V inflator that I can leave in the boot to manage slow punctures and at least get me to the local tyre place instead of sitting around waiting.

Any thoughts?

This is the one I use, it's 6 years old now and lasted fine. Just set it to the pressure you want and it stops automatically. Also has a built in light and warning strobe.

Purchased an AirHawk Pro (cordless) , fine for the occasional top up / football inflation etc but not much use for inflating a flat tyre without plugging it into the cars 12v outlet , plus the battery is normally flat as it has been lying in the boot for ages , unused.

Fair point. I seem to use mine a lot, or enough times that the long wire from the cigarette lighter is super annoying! But then I use it for bike tyres too having bought a 12v<>240v adaptor.

Anyway I've got this one https://www.halfords.com/tools/garag...or-538761.html

Had it for years no issues

I have a version of that one, also, and it has been reliable.. Reckon mine is close to ten years old, now...

Would recommend a good tyre pressure gauge if you want to be spot on, as I found the one in the pump a little off...

Going to go with this I think. It's getting claimed on expenses because it's a company car, so not fussed about cost (within reason!)

It's very good.
How ironic, I bought that one earlier this week when my Michelin one packed in…
Very good with the cord storage too.

I use this, didn't get chance to use it on my car but come handy on mate car last night, 19" wheels completely flat sorted in 3 min, also recommend getting some puncture repair kit used them few times and never had a problem, one was even on tyre that only done 100 miles from new and lasted 20k

Those of you who got the RTC1000; any problems with the plug being too small for the 12v socket?
