seat belt butler

Is there any other way to activate the butler except by closing the door? I'm not always ready to fasten my seat belt in the first minute after I close the door. It would be nice if there was another way to activate the butler.

Not that I know of...

I would be interested to see if there is a way though.

Switch the ignition off and then back on.

The simple thing to do is don't insert your key until you are ready for the belt.

Just wait until you are ready to go before starting the car. When you start it, if the belt has gone back it will come back out again when you start the car.

Alternatively, just quickly open and close the door, or reach back and get it manually.
