Question E93 Ext Warr other than AAA Autoguard?

I've been searching for an extended warranty for my E93 and although NY AAA Autoguard Diamond (w/luxury option) has a great plan, paying $5.4K (M3 quote) is too rich for my budget and in this economy I'm very concerned about the underwriter still being in business in +4 years. I'm mainly concerned about coverage for the hardtop convertible mechanism that other extended warranties I've investigated seem to exclude (ie, they only mention coverage for the motor and wiring).

Anyone find another ext warranty plan for an E93 that is more affordable, given it is being purchased 4 years ahead of the coverage start date?

Mercury Insurance, through my credit union, has excellent aftermarket warranties. Strong company (so far...).

You might try http://www.warrantydirect.com. They have several different levels of coverage depending on what you're concerned about.

According to their website they don't offer coverage for M series vehicles

It doesn't cover the mechanics in the hardtop vert, just motor and wiring
