I drive both of these cars on a regular basis and the 335i is the clear winner"
It handles better, has ample room inside of it, is so much more fun to drive and is rock solid. The 525i is somewhat sluggish, not that it does not have power, but it just does not feel as powerful and does not wow you with its power at all. Yes, the 525i is much bigger inside but the space in the 335i in big enough for adults and does provide some feel of luxury You live once, so it makes sense to get that 300 horsepower engine with that nice exhaust note. Hope this helps. |

Well do you want a sporty fast car or a laidback family sedan? I have an 07 335 coupe and an 08 528 which i honestly think is superior in comfort and noise level, however the 335 is a savage beast. They are different, you cant compare. Its apple vs. Orange. Yes the 528 is slow but the 5 is not meant to be a sports car. Good luck with what ever you get.

335i by a mile. it has a twin turbo engine and its one of the sickest bimmers out there now. i might consider the montego blue for the color of the car.

Either that or dip into your future inheritance and pony up some more cash so you can get a 535, a 545 or even a 550but do NOT get a 525 or even a 530. It's just too heavy a car even before big ol' Pops gets in to run on those kinda ponies. Get the 335i and tell dad to take his own car. |

Oh crap. I just realized that you're the kid from that "just got my first car" thread.
I'll repeat the advice I just gave over there. Go get a Yaris and a paper route. Or a bike helmet and a bus pass. Dad should be teaching you all about taking responsibility for your own actions instead of slagging car dealers on the 'net for your own stupidity. Consider the 5k a low IQ tax. |
