My New Steering Wheel is on the way......
Hi all,
I decided to upgrade and modify my non-sport steering wheel to Hartge and with the mutifunction system. There're couple of questions I'd like to ask. I think I have to get a new airbag that fits in with the sport steering wheel. I searched through the forum but I couldn't find the product number and retail price of it. I called my dealer yesterday and they quoted the price of the airbag for sport steering wheel for $680 including installation fee. I don't think the price is reasonable. Thank for your help Woods Last edited by breakfast101; 05-02-2006 at 10:23 PM.. |

To me, for a new airbag plus labor, that sounds actually about right. Airbags are definitely not a cheap part. |

There are 2 versions of Hartge steering wheel.
The one that comes with CF insert costs 850 Euros or around $1200 ........ The one w/o CF insert is $350 cheaper which is 650 Euros or $855....... I think I will get the one with CF insert cos the CF insert makes the steering wheel a lot nicer than the one w/o CF,don't you think? Woods |

WOW, the Hartge-steering wheel looks very, very good, congratulations to the new owner!!!
Itīs a very big different to the normally sport-steering and M-steering-construction.

Hi again,
Just got an updated price info........I need to pay 250 euros more for the CF cover.....Hartge charges the price for multifunction and non-multifunction steering wheel........ The price I gave you guys is just only for the steering wheel...... That costs a lot of money........Now the question is that "Which one I should go for?" Woods |

Hi
Thanks for the pricing info. I am very interested to get the one without CF. Appreciate if you could advise on how to make an order. I noticed you are located in Bangkok. I am from Singapore. |

Hello jojosnr,
You can goto any Hartge resellers and place order. I called a guy at F1 Autosport,my local Hartge reseller shop, to get one for me. The steering wheel will arrive at the end of this month. Now I'm preparing for upgrading my steering wheel from standard into multifunction one. I'm going to get a new airbag module. Good luck Woods |
